Richard is the third generation of organist in his family and is based in East Sussex. He took up his first post at St Augustines, Flimwell at the age of fourteen. He now plays every week at ‘St James the Great’ in Ewhurst Green and at St Mary’s in Ticehurst.
In partnership with family funeral directors Waterhouse & Sons and the Heathfield Funeral Service he regularly stands in at churches around Heathfield and Burwash. He also plays at Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells Crematoria and the new Wealden Crematorium in Horam.
